Coordinate System Minimal Settings

At least one coordinate system must be defined.

To Define a Coordinate System

Right-click the Coordinate Systems datasource node and select Add.
The Add Coordinate Systems dialog opens. All the available coordinate systems from the reprojection engine are presented in the Available Coordinate Systems list. Note that the coordinate systems that are already added are not present in the list.
Select one of the coordinate systems from the list and click Add.
The selected coordinate system is added to the Coordinate Systems list.
Right-click the newly added coordinate system and select Set as reference.
The coordinate system is now marked as the reference and the icon is different from the other coordinate system icons.

Tip: The reference coordinate system is used to compare objects that are in different coordinate systems. In that case, both objects will be re-projected into the reference coordinate system before being compared. The reference coordinate system must be chosen carefully so that all other coordinate systems have a valid transformation path to it.
